CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

 Interested in how to care for light-up apparel? All of our light up clothing products are water resistant & can be washed! Detailed washing & care instructions will come with your order & are also available for review below.

THE GLOW FUR COLLECTION CARE:

Cleaning Instructions:

1. SPOT CLEAN ONLY, to clean remove/disconnect battery pack if possible.
2. Spot clean as needed with water and mild clothing detergent.
3. Allow to dry completely before using again. 
4. NEVER PUT YOUR ITEM IN A DRYER

LED LIGHT CARE:

• Treat your LED lights with extreme care, this will prolong their life
• Your lights can not be wet while turned on, this will ruin the electronics
• Treat battery pack and cords with care as they are electronics
• Use caution not to pull hard on put pressure/weight on cords or battery pack
• Always remove batteries and disconnect battery pack for storage

CAUTION:

• do not let the battery get wet
• do not use bleach as this will damage the item

Trouble Shooting:

• if lights appear dim or flicker than replace batteries with brand NEW batteries.
• if lights are only red, replace the battery
• if new batteries does not fix the issue than please let us know as soon as possible for a replacement.

We use two types of LED’s in our Glow Fur Collection, instructions for both are below.

COLOR CONTROL LEDS: Your battery pack is located in the zipper pocket. Your item takes a one 9volt battery, except larger items such as jackets, which take two. To insert the battery follow the instructions on the reverse side of this page. Once you have correctly inserted the 9volt battery, it will click into place & not move. Then turn the item on with the switch on the battery pack. The setting buttons are located on the control board in between the LED strip & the battery pack. Use the setting buttons to change color, mode, brightness & speed.

RAINBOW TWINKLE LEDS:  Your battery pack is located in the zipper pocket & it takes 3 AA batteries. Insert the batteries with the flat side against the spring.  To turn on simply use the switch on the battery pack.

THE FIBER OPTIC COLLECTION CARE:

Our fiber optic apparel comes with detailed cleaning & care instructions. Although the apparel is not machine-washable, it is easily cleaned with a mild stain remover, after first unplugging the battery pack. Always allow your fiber optic apparel to naturally dry completely before using again.

LIGHT UP SHOE CARE:

Our light-up shoes are water resistant. Clean them with a damp towel and mild detergent as it will not damage the LEDS inside.  Be careful not to submerge the charging port as this area should not get wet.

Cleaning Instructions

1. to clean remove/disconnect battery pack.
2. spot clean as needed with water and mild clothing detergent.

El Wire Bra Care Instructions

• el wire can not be wet while turned on, this will ruin the electronics
• treat battery pack and cords with care as they are electronics
• use caution not to pull hard on cords or battery pack
• NEVER remove caps from the end of el wire, see photo to the right
• if caps on end of el wire are lost or broken, contact us for replacements
• remove batteries and disconnect battery pack for storage

CAUTION:

• do not let the connector on end of el wire to get wet
• do not use bleach as this will damage the el wire
• if the connector on the end of el wire happens to get wet allow to dry at least 72 hrs. before connecting battery pack for use

Disconnecting Battery Pack

• match small extruding tab on battery pack connector to matching side on el wire connector to plug in, this should match and click in easily. Do not force.

Trouble Shooting

• if lights appear dim or flicker than replace batteries with brand NEW batteries.
• if lights only stay on while holding down button than replace batteries.
• if new batteries does not fix the issue than please let us know as soon as possible for a replacement.

LIGHT-UP HOODIE CARE: 

Washing Instructions:

1. Unplug battery pack from hoodie & remove. The battery pack is not waterproof and will be damaged if washed.
2. Put the hoodie in the Washing Machine on Cold and Delicate wash.
3. DO NOT PUT HOODIE IN A DRYER. It will ruin the Hoodie.
4. Put the Hoodie on a hanger and let it air dry.
5. Once hoodie is completely dry, replace & plug in battery pack.

OTHER LIGHT-UP ACCESSORY CARE:

Washing instructions:

Most of our light-up products are water resistant. Please use remove batteries & battery pack if possible and proceed to spot clean as needed. Never put in the dryer.
